This aromatic spiced popcorn with pecans and raisins is an elevated vegetarian snack that perfectly balances sweet and savoury notes. Fragrant with a blend of turmeric, cinnamon, and a hint of cayenne pepper, the popcorn is toasted in the oven alongside buttery pecans to create a satisfyingly crunchy texture. The addition of maple syrup provides a delicate sweetness that complements the earthy spices, making it a sophisticated alternative to standard shop-bought treats.
Ideal for sharing during a weekend film night or as a festive grazing snack, this recipe is incredibly versatile and easy to prepare. The golden raisins are added at the end to provide a chewy, fruity contrast to the crisp popcorn and toasted nuts. Packed with flavour and natural ingredients, this homemade snack is a wholesome choice for those seeking a more interesting treat to serve to guests or enjoy at home.
