Why this happens
Sumatriptan and vitamin D are processed by different pathways in the body. Sumatriptan is primarily broken down by an enzyme called monoamine oxidase-A (MAO-A), while vitamin D is processed by the liver and kidneys into its active form. They do not interfere with each other's absorption or effectiveness.
