Taking codeine and ramipril together can cause your blood pressure to drop lower than intended. This may make you feel dizzy, lightheaded, or faint, especially when you stand up quickly. Additionally, both codeine and ramipril can slightly increase potassium levels in your blood, though this is usually only a concern if you have kidney problems. Paracetamol does not have a significant interaction with ramipril.

Why this happens
Codeine can have a mild sedative and relaxing effect on the blood vessels, which adds to the blood-pressure-lowering effect of ramipril (an ACE inhibitor). Both drugs can also interfere with how the body handles potassium, potentially leading to higher levels.
